This brush features a handcrafted handle by Robert Quinn from Afzelia Burl wood that grows in tropical Africa and Asia. The heartwood is reddish brown after exposure to the elements and the sapwood is pale straw to whitish. Afzelia Burl is a very rare wood and is only available in small dimensions. Afzelia is used mainly for doors, windows, floors and staircases.
