This brush features a handcrafted handle by Robert Quinn from Cocobolo wood that grows along the western coast of Mexico, Central and South America.  When first cut, the heartwood of Cocobolo displays a wide range of colors, from rich red to variegated streaks of yellow and red-orange colors.  It fades on exposure to a deep, rich orange with black stripes and mottling.  Cocobolo is popular for woodturning, cutlery handles, wooden jewelry and small decorative items. This handle features a Brass accent ring around the base.
